Dosage hopper for silver crystals

The T-Crystal Hopper is designed for the storage and transfer of silver crystals to the T-Lift High Special cup conveyor, which then discharges them into the crucible of a tilting furnace.

The operator sets the desired amount of crystals and starts the system: from that point on, the transfer process proceeds automatically and in sync. The crystals are smoothly conveyed to the T-Lift High Special, which transports and discharges them directly into the furnace crucible, ensuring precision and efficiency at every stage.

T-CRYSTAL HOPPER CONSISTS OF:

  • Loading hopper.
  • Motorized ploughshare mixer: prevents compaction of the crystals during descent.
  • Bridge breaker.
  • Outlet dosing screw conveyor.
  • 4 load cells with a maximum capacity of 500 kg each: measure the weight of the crystals inside the hopper and, by weight difference, calculate the amount of crystals loaded into the melting furnace.
  • Vibrator: allows residual crystals deposited on the mixer to fall.
  • Integrated interface and software: to set the quantity of crystals to be discharged.
  • Support frame with 4 wheels and brakes.
  • All components in contact with the silver crystals are made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
